Issue: Unavailable Downloadable Lazada Official Receipt for 2550Q BIR Filing for Q2 2024

On May 18, 2024, Clickerwayne Enterprise contacted Lazada Partner Support via the chat feature on Lazada Seller Center. The purpose was to follow up on an issue about the unavailability of a downloadable Tax Invoice. These receipts are essential for preparing the upcoming 2550Q filing with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Despite the promise of a resolution within 24 to 48 hours, four days had passed with no progress. So we decided to make a follow up.

Interaction with Support Agent Dale

When we started the chat, we were connected with an agent named Dale. Our question was straightforward and we included a screenshot of the My Invoice tab on Lazada Seller Center. We made it clear: we needed the official receipt. Dale's first response was to direct us to the Income Statement tab, which had nothing to do with our request. He said, "You can download it on the other tab in the Income statement. You can see it on the right upper corner." This told us he had not looked at the screenshot we provided.

We tried to explain that we did not need the income statement. We needed the official receipt. But Dale insisted, "You can download it on the Income statement." Realizing that Dale was not understanding our need, we asked to escalate the issue and speak with his manager. Instead of acknowledging our request, Dale sent us a screenshot of the page for downloading the income report. That was not helpful at all.

Further Attempts to Resolve the Issue

Frustrated, we repeated that our concern was specific to the downloadable official receipt from the My Invoice tab. Dale still did not get it. He responded with, "Did you try to download it?" and then tried to disconnect us from the chat. Luckily, we managed to stay connected. Our response was clear: "AND DON'T YOU DARE DISCONNECT US FROM THIS CHAT."

Dale's reply was to again send us to the income statement download. This showed he still did not understand our problem. We said it plainly: "INVOICE IS DIFFERENT FROM INCOME STATEMENT, DALE." We asked again to escalate the chat. Dale said he needed one to two minutes to check his resources.

After more than two minutes, Dale came back with another unrelated screenshot. He still had not addressed our need for the official receipt. By this point, it was clear Dale was frustrated and could not understand what we were asking for.

Our World Class Horrific Experience with Lazada Partner Support was deeply disappointing. The agent's lack of understanding, unhelpful responses, and evasive behavior showed a serious gap in training and customer service standards. This incident highlights the need for Lazada to improve their support services so issues can be resolved efficiently and accurately.
